* Happiness Age

At What Age Are You A Senior?
Jean Madison

"You are as young as your faith, as old as your doubt; as young as your self-confidence, as old as your fear; as young as your hope and as old as your despair".

Most Seniors have seen hard times at one time or another in their lives. They have had to struggle financially to care for their families or they have lost close family members or have suffered grave illness of family members or themselves. They know the reality of how fast the good times can disappear. Through the years they have gained enormous knowledge, often from their own experience and perseverance rather than from education and training. Where youth pays huge fees to get an education, the years accumulated by Seniors can be equal in value.

Their most precious commodity now is Time. Not even youth knows how much more time they are allotted but Seniors certainly know that theirs is limited and now is not the time to worry about how much is remaining but to remember that the future still comes to them one day at a time and it is up to them to live each one to the fullest.

There are many projects that Seniors from 50 up are able to accomplish and we have only to look at the internet to see all the hundreds of work-at-home projects offered. The list goes on from learning to cook or play a musical instrument, to making money at internet marketing online with some of the dozens of programs offered, or getting paid to type or do data entry via the internet. The internet certainly offers a mosaic of ideas and money making work-at-home opportunities.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Regardless of whether Seniors need to make a living or just entertain themselves to keep busy, the underlying goal should be to find happiness in thir work. Happiness is a way of life. George Bernard Shaw wrote "We have no more right to consume happiness without producing it than we have to consume wealth without producing it". Happiness is meant to be enjoyed, not someday in the future, but today - Now!.

Happiness is being true to yourself
Happiness is keeping busy
Happiness is accepting the inevitable
Happiness is ones work and family life
Happiness and health are closely related
True happiness is making others happy
Remember, your financial Past does not have to be your Financial Future!

Age is a quality of mind.
If you have left your dreams behind,
If hope is cold and you no longer plan ahead,
If your ambitions are all dead,
Then you are Old.
But if you make of life the best
And in your life you still have zest,
If you hold love no matter how the years go by
No matter how the birthdays fly,

You are NOT old!

We welcome anybody that wants to start a Withdraw Center or wants to join the Oregon Coastal Center. There are no dues, fees or costs.

There is no charge for either Session if you provide your own lodging. If you want to stay at the meeting resort, the following is the pricing for Eagle Crest lodging.
