Positive Self Talk, in its simplest meaning is the act of removing negative thoughts and emotions from one's mind. In other words, it is having inner peace.
Positive Self Talk just happens when a person is at peace with himself. It is a natural occurrence which is transferred to the subconscious mind when a person is at perfect inner peace, within the short period, and the subconscious in its own intellectual power takes this feeling up and transfer the message to the Universal Power which in turn, materializes the positive thoughts into reality.

One powerful and effective step in Positive Self Talk is Meditation. This simple but often neglected technique could be applied by sitting comfortably in a chair or by listening to a cool soothing music, or by performing any relaxation exercise. Meditation is clearing one's mind of negative thoughts. By relaxing and putting one's mind in a peaceful mood all negative thoughts are eased off from one's mind and in such a mood positive thoughts will find its ways in. You could practise this for 10 or 15 minutes anytime in the day.
Positive affirmations is another step in the application of Positive Self Talk. This widely accepted technique are positive statements made in present tense language to affirm that one is thinking positively of himself or to affirm that one is actually benefitting from the good things of life. These affirmations when made, are capable of achieving outstanding results especially if they are repeated often as the situation demands and if the affirmation is supported with positive thoughts.
Example of affirmations are:
I am a successful person.
Everything I do brings me good reward
I am a productive person.
Just as Meditation the message is passed to the subconscious mind which takes charge and passes it to the Universal Power which materializes the message and put it into a formed object.
